Our Mission

Empowered by God to share the peace and love of Christ through service, worship and discipleship.”

Jesus Christ is The Good Shepherd who laid down his life for us, his sheep (John 10:7-18). Therefore, the manner by which we desire to achieve our mission is to think with the mind of Christ, love with the heart of Christ, and serve with the hands of Christ all to the glory of God.

Our Beliefs

Riceville Valley Community Church is a local church of the  Evangelical Presbyterian Church  (EPC), a
denomination of Presbyterian, Reformed, Evangelical, and Missional congregations. The motto of the EPC is “In Essentials Unity, In Non-essentials Liberty, in All Things Charity.”  This motto describes how we prioritize our beliefs and practices, while the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) shapes the way we live and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) compels our mission.

Our Leaders

Our leaders are composed of elders and our pastor. Together, we recognize the authority of God, and realizes that we are under-shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
